Academic Common Market

Is a degree program you would like to pursue not available in your state? Have you found a degree program at an out-of-state institution, but the higher tuition is a barrier? Looking for options for lower tuition?

The Academic Common Market (Southern Region Education Board) is made up of 16 states in the southwest region of the United States. Explore more at the Academic Common Market (ACM) to see if you qualify for in-state tuition while pursuing educational opportunities out of state.  

Note: As of Feb. 1, 2013, based on searches of the ACM, students from Delaware & Mississippi are eligible to pursue a variety of MPH degree programs with the School of Public Health under the ACM agreement.

Transfer Students

The School of Public Health welcomes transfer applications. Accepted master transfer students may be eligible to transfer up to nine semester credit hours from other accredited graduate degree granting institutions. Doctoral transfer students may be eligible to transfer up to 12 semester credit hours from other accredited graduate degree granting institutions. Applicants wishing to transfer coursework must disclose transfer work during the admission process. Students wishing to transfer are required to submit an application through the SOPHAS Application Portal.
